The handhelds. Yes. I believe Mattel Baseball was responsible for the first curse words I ever uttered, loudly and with conviction, without caring if my parents heard me or not.

A friend of mine just downloaded some Intellivision games for the iPad. He says they’re horrible.

@Neptune - Thanks for your comment. Did some searching on my super-computer, which transmitted data findings back to me in an amazing .56 seconds (doesn't that sound exciting?): According to this article by Snopes, the Disneyland Skyway was not closed due to a death, but rather to economic reasons. Funny how horrific imagery sweeps the world like a storm (many of my childhood friends and I were convinced that someone had indeed died from a fall/suicide attempt), but "economic reasons" is just so boring, we'd almost rather hear the former. Great. So much for my imagining some '70s chick emitting a blood-curdling scream in her bell bottoms.
